Hekkova Ships turns primary federal records — deck logs and command histories held by the National Archives, histories published by the Naval History and Heritage Command, the Dictionary of American Naval Fighting Ships — into structured, cited, reviewed records of US Navy ships and their deployments. The records themselves — the ship pages, the database entries, the Deployment Records — are built from those sources, and every claim in them carries its citation.
Deployment Records
A Deployment Record is a $29 report on a single deployment of a single ship, built from the records that deployment produced: extracted deck-log entries, the ship's command history, DANFS, and comparable federal sources. It carries the deployment's chronology, command changes, and casualties, with a citation and a verification-status disclosure on every fact. A report is offered only once its deployment's records have been extracted and reviewed; no report is sold for coverage that isn't there.
For families researching the deployment a veteran served, and for anyone who needs one cruise's record in one document.
Records Database
The Records Database is subscription access to the structured archive itself: deck-log entries and ship records, quality-reviewed, searchable by ship and date, each entry linked to its source page in the National Archives catalog. Subscriptions are monthly at three tiers, differentiated by use rights and seats rather than by withheld features. The database opens once the archive holds enough ships to be worth subscribing to; it is not open yet and no date is set.
For family researchers, naval historians, and organizations whose work runs on primary records.
Records Concierge
A structured report of a veteran's service, built from their Official Military Personnel File and expert-reviewed before delivery — with recommendations for follow-on research, including which pertinent records this archive holds and where and how to obtain those it does not. The concierge service opens after the archive launches; it is not taking orders yet.
